A Silver member who always books recommended routes effectively has a 14,000-mile annual allowance. That is not a footnote. That is the whole point of the recommended flight programme.
When you subscribe, your entire annual miles allowance is credited to your account immediately — not drip-fed month by month. If you fly a lot early in the year, great. If life gets busy and you travel less for a stretch, your miles are waiting. Any unused miles also roll over at renewal, so nothing disappears at the end of the year.
